What’s up with the site?

I started this site because I wanted to create a pseudo-blog type atmosphere where my friends and I could post on a handful of disparate topics in a centralized location. Ideally, our posts will be engaging/thought provoking/funny enough to spawn a large community of commenters and visitors. That being said there are a few major areas that I would like the blog to focus on initially; Technology, Music, Food, Politics and Sports. Now I know that blogs on those topics are a dime a dozen. What is special about our site is that we will provide a central location for thought and information on all these topics.
